We are currently seeking an Onsite Service Technician for the North Jersey area.
Install new printers (unbox, configure to network, test)
Perform preventative maintenance on printers
Deliver supplies to end users
Interact with external customers to determine equipment service needs and ensure customer satisfaction with the service performed
Install all manufacturer-mandated equipment modifications and updates on assigned equipment
Process required paperwork associated with service call
Attend pertinent professional courses, seminars, and workshops to maintain the highest level of professional competence
Other duties as assigned. Management reserves the right to add or delete duties as deemed appropriate.
|Qualifications:|| High school diploma or equivalent and specialized or technical training and/or vocational or technical or business school. |
Requires less than 12 months of related experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Familiarity with Windows and loading printer drivers
Valid NJ Drivers License in good standing; reliable transportation
Must maintain automobile liability insurance limits of at least $100,000 per individual/$300,000 per accident for bodily injury (BI) and $50,000 property damage (PD).
Requires moderate interpersonal and communication skills to ensure that customer requests or needs are met. Acknowledge and clarify customer inquiries, requests, or complaints to ensure that needs are identified, documented, and addressed.
Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods.
Ability to travel to attend national conferences, professional development classes, or meetings.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to work under stress/pressure to meet deadlines and financial objectives.
Ability to move frequently walk, stoop, bend, squat, and kneel
Ability to lift tool cases and assorted service-related tool weighing up to 50 pounds several times per day
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
